This document describes how the Astro Rewards® program works and is an agreement between you and Astro Financial, Inc. You agree that use of your account or any feature of the Astro Rewards® Program indicates your acceptance of the terms of these Terms. In this document, the following words have special meanings:
We reserve the right, at our discretion, to change, modify, cancel, add or remove any or all portions of the terms of these Terms, any policy, FAQ, or guideline pertaining to the Astro Rewards® Program at any time. If any terms change in the future, we will let you know by posting an update to astrobanking.com/terms/rewards with the most recent modification date. Any changes or modifications will be effective immediately upon posting the revision, and you waive any right you have to receive special notice of such change. By participating in the Astro Rewards® Program after any revision to the terms of these Terms, you agree to the revised terms.
We may supplement these Terms with additional terms, conditions, disclosures, and agreements that will be considered part of these Terms.
We may temporarily prohibit you from earning points, using points you have already earned, or using any features of the Program.
We may refer to these Terms as the “Rewards Program Rules and Regulations,” "Rewards Program Terms and Conditions" or the "Rewards Program Agreement" in communications about the Program and in supplemental terms, conditions, disclosures, and agreements. This version of these Terms takes the place of any earlier versions.
We take your privacy seriously. To find out about how we collect, share and use your content and information, we recommend that you read our Online Privacy Policy (the "Privacy Policy"). The Privacy Policy forms part of these Terms and is incorporated by reference. By registering for the Program, you agree that we may collect, use and disclose your personal information as is necessary to operate the Program.
While we make commercially reasonable efforts to ensure that the Program and your Astro Account are available, we do not represent, warrant or guarantee in any way the Program's and/or your Astro Account's continued availability at all times or uninterrupted use by you of the Program and your Astro Account. You acknowledge that access and use of the Program and your Astro Account may be subject to bugs, malfunctions, delays, and downtime. You recognize that, due to the nature of the internet and electronic devices, your access and use of the Program and your Astro Account may be inhibited or affected by factors outside of our control. Availability of the Program and your Astro Account is subject to your continued access to sufficient internet and/or data services.
You must be 13 years of age or older to sign up for and participate in the Program.
We will give you fifteen (15) days’ notice of the following types of changes to the Program or these Terms:
In the event a designated Creator Beneficiary is no longer participating in the Program, we will give reasonable notice to you of such change.
We will send this notice to you in writing, which, at our option, may be delivered to you electronically by email or through our online services, such as astrobanking.com or the Astro Mobile App.
We will give you notice of other changes to the Program or these Terms by posting an updated copy of these Terms when you log in to our website, astrobanking.com/terms/rewards.
We will not provide notice when Creator(s) change what you can get with your points. It is up to the discretion of the Creator(s) to notify you of any changes. You understand and agree that we can make these changes at any time. You can see what creator rewards are currently available when you access your Astro Account. Future availability of any specific rewards is not guaranteed.
The Astro Rewards® Program is a rewards program which allows Program participants ("Users") to earn points with qualifying purchases. Users will be allowed to select their favorite Creator participating in the Program. Users will be able to redeem points earned from use of the Linked Card(s) for rewards and experiences provided or sponsored by the selected Creators.
To access and use the Program, you must first complete the registration process to create an account ("Astro Account"), which may involve registering a unique user name and password or logging into the Program with certain approved social media login credentials (collectively, "Credentials")mobile number, confirming your date of birth, and providing us with any other information we request on the Astro Account registration form. Your Astro Account and Credentials are specific to you and may not be shared with or transferred to any other person. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your Credentials and you will be held responsible for any harm caused by disclosing or resulting from any unauthorized use of your Credentials. You will not permit any other person to use your Astro Account or Credentials, and you will immediately notify Astro if you know or suspect that your Astro Account or Credentials have been used by any other person. You shall not use or access an account which is not your own.
During the registration process, you will provide true, accurate, current and complete information about yourself as prompted by the registration form (such information being the "Registration Data"). You will also maintain and promptly update the Registration Data and your Astro Account and social media account data to keep it true, accurate, current and complete. If you provide any information that is untrue, inaccurate, not current or complete, Astro has reasonable grounds to suspect that such information is untrue, inaccurate, not current or complete, Astro has the right to suspend or terminate your Astro Account and refuse any and all current or future use of the Program by you.
Astro may act upon any communication that is given through your Astro Account or by using your Credentials. Astro is not required to verify the actual identity or authority of a person using your Astro Account or Credentials, but Astro may in its discretion at any time require verification of the identity of a person seeking to access your Astro Account and may deny access to and use of your Astro Account if Astro is not satisfied with the verification. If Astro, in its sole discretion, considers your Astro Account or Credentials to be unsecure or to have been used inappropriately, then Astro may immediately cancel the Astro Account or Credentials without any notice to you. We may require you to change your Credentials from time to time.
At any time, with or without cause or advance notice (except where required by law), we may suspend the participation, or terminate your enrollment in the Program. Reasons for suspension or termination include, but are not limited to, violations of these Terms, or any other agreement with us, providing false or misleading information to us, or circumstances that lead us to suspect the Astro Account or the Program have been misused in any way, including, but not limited to, fraud, excessive transactions, or any other abuse. During a suspension, points may not be able to be earned and points may not be reported to the Program. We also reserve the right to suspend or terminate the Program, in whole or in part, for any reason, at any time, with or without prior notice (except where required by law). Our decisions regarding the Program are final. If we suspend the Program, further points will not be awarded during the suspension. If we terminate the Program, no further points will be awarded. If the Program is terminated through no fault of your own, you will be notified of the date when points will no longer be earned.
You acknowledge and agree that when you link any of your social media or other third-party accounts to your Astro Account, you authorize Astro to collect, use, and disclose information from such accounts in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Your Astro Account will be made public for other Users and Creators to see. Default information included on your public Astro Account will consist of your preferred name provided at Astro Account creation and an optional profile picture. You may elect to include additional identifying information, such as state and country of residence and age, but personal identifying information will not be included on your public Astro Account by default. Financial information will never be included on your public Astro Account.
You will also be able link eligible payment cards to your Astro Account in order to earn rewards or benefits when you make qualifying transactions at participating merchants (a “Card Linked Offer”). By creating your Astro Account and by participating in the Program, you consent to receive marketing and/or promotional materials from Astro and its third-party partners or service providers related to Rewards, offers and promotions that may be available to you, now and/or in the future.
You further consent to Astro and its third party service provider(s) collecting and using transaction data consistent with Astro’s confidentiality obligations to you and its Privacy Policy.
At the time you create your Astro Account, you will have the immediate option to select one creator who will earn a percentage of your purchases with the Linked Card(s) (referred to herein as the "Creator Beneficiary"). At a later date, you may have the ability to designate multiple Creator Beneficiaries. A portion of each of your purchases with the Linked Card(s) will be available for distribution to Creator Beneficiaries (the "Creator Portion"). If you select only one Creator Beneficiary, 100% of the Creator Portion will go to that Creator Beneficiary. However, if you select more than one Creator Beneficiary, you will be required to designate percentages of the Creator Portion, in whole percentage increments, to be received by each selected Creator Beneficiary. These percentages may be adjusted anytime you log into your Astro Account. Astro reserves the right in its sole discretion and without notice to you to implement limits on the manner in which Creator Portions are distributed.
You will earn points on purchases of products and services, minus returns or refunds (collectively, the “purchases”), made with a card by you or an authorized user of the account. You may also earn points by redeeming promotional codes provided by Astro and/or third-parties, including Creators. Buying products and services with your Linked Card(s) will, in most cases, count as a purchase; however, the following types of transactions will not count and will not earn points:
The rate at which points are earned may vary between offers and third-party vendors.
We may offer you ways to earn bonus points through the Program, such as special promotions. You will find out more about the number of bonus points you can earn and any other terms at the time of the offer. The additional terms will be part of these Terms.
Points are earned at the close of each monthly billing cycle, based on the purchases made during that billing cycle, plus any bonus points posted during that billing cycle, but minus any returns or refunds. If you have more returns or refunds than points earned from purchases or bonuses, then points will be deducted from your total point balance and may result in a negative point balance.
You will see points you have earned on your Astro Account.
We may, from time to time, provide additional ways for you to see points you have earned, such as through Astro Banking or third-party mobile application(s).
Points earned in a monthly billing cycle are generally available to be used at the beginning of the next billing cycle; however, points earned on purchases made near the end of a billing cycle may take up to one additional billing cycle to become available.
You can use your points to redeem rewards made available or sponsored by your selected Creator Beneficiaries (the "Creator Rewards") and other third-parties from time to time (collectively, the "Rewards").
We may, from time to time, provide additional ways for you to use your points in addition to those described in these Terms, such as through Astro Banking or third parties.
Redemption values for specific Creator Rewards may vary between Creators, as Creators set the redemption values for their Rewards.
You are responsible for how your points are redeemed, including if you allow authorized users to access your points.
To use your points, minimum and maximum amounts may apply. We will let you know about any minimum or maximum amounts, as well as any additional terms and conditions, before you use your points.
Once points have been used, the transaction is considered final and may not be canceled unless otherwise noted.
You are solely responsible for all costs, expenses, and liabilities connected to your redemption of Rewards. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, you are responsible for travel, lodging and meal expenses, if any, relating to your redemption of Creator Rewards, unless otherwise specified at the time of redemption of the Creator Rewards.
In the event your designated Creator Beneficiary’s participation in the Program ceases before you are able to redeem Creator Rewards for that Creator Beneficiary, you will be given an opportunity to transfer your points to another Creator Beneficiary.
Within our sole discretion, we may temporarily prohibit you from earning points or using points you have already earned:

Astro will allow you to begin earning and using points again when we no longer suspect fraud or misuse of the Astro Account or the Program.
Your points do not expire as long as your Astro Account is open. However, you will immediately lose all of your points if your Astro Account status changes, or your Astro Account is closed, for any of the following reasons:

We will not reinstate points you lose, unless we have made an error.
If your Astro Account is closed for any other reason, all points accumulated at the time of closure will be automatically forfeited with no further rights to redeem same.
If we decide to cancel the Program, you will have at least 30 days from the date we cancel the Program to use your points, as long as you do not lose them for any of the reasons described in these Terms. If you do not use your points during that time, you will lose them.
If we are notified of your death, your points will be automatically forfeited.
The Creators participating in the Program are not employees, agents or representatives of Astro. Astro has no right to control the conduct of Creators participating in the Program. Astro does not endorse or condone any inappropriate, offensive, harassing, illicit or illegal activity of any Creators participating in the Program and in no event will be responsible for such conduct.
Astro has no control over the fulfillment of Creator Rewards by Creators under this Program. The redemption of a Creator Reward may result in Astro facilitating communication between you and the Creator and/or the Creator's management to schedule the fulfillment of a Creator Reward, if applicable. However, in no event will Astro be responsible for a Creator's failure to fulfill a Creator Reward redeemed by you. Your sole remedy in such a situation will be to make a formal written complaint with Astro by emailing help@astrobanking.com and requesting a refund of the points used to redeem the Creator Reward. Astro reserves the right to refuse any points refund requests in its sole discretion. Astro is not responsible or liable to you or any third party for any direct, indirect or incidental damages arising out of or relating in any way to your participation in a Creator Reward or Reward Event.
You shall be responsible for your own safety while participating in Reward Events. YOU ASSUME ALL RISKS WITH RESPECT TO PARTICIPATION IN REWARD EVENTS, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, RISKS OF PERSONAL INJURY AND PROPERTY DAMAGE.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, by participating in the Astro Rewards® Program, you release Astro, and affiliated entities, and their respective officers, directors, employees and agents from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and other expenses (including, without limitation, attorneys' fees) relating to participation in the Astro Rewards® Program, redemption of Creator Rewards, participation in Reward Events or agreement to the terms of these Terms.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE ASTRO REWARDS® PROGRAM IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ASTRO DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, WITH RESPECT TO THE ASTRO REWARDS® PROGRAM (INCLUDING THOSE RELATED TO MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT AND THOSE ARISING OUT OF COURSE OF DEALING, USAGE, OR TRADE). TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ASTRO WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, PUNITIVE, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES (INCLUDING FOR THE INDIRECT LOSS OF PROFIT, REVENUE, OR DATA) ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE ASTRO REWARDS® PROGRAM, HOWEVER CAUSED, AND UNDER WHATEVER CAUSE OF ACTION OR THEORY OF LIABILITY BROUGHT (INCLUDING UNDER ANY CONTRACT, NEGLIGENCE, OR OTHER TORT THEORY OF LIABILITY) EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Astro and its third-party service providers and all of their respective affiliates, directors, officers, employees, agents and contractors harmless from and against any loss, damage, liability, cost, or expense of any kind (including attorneys’ fees) arising from: (i) your or an authorized user’s use of the Program, any fraud or misuse of the Program, violation of these Terms and/or violation of any applicable law or the rights of any third party; (ii) the negligent or criminal acts of you or an authorized user while using the Program or participating in a Reward Event; (iii) the negligent or criminal acts of any third-parties, including, but not limited to, Creators, during your use of the Program, your redemption of a Reward, or your participation in a Reward Event.
You agree with Astro, pursuant to the Federal Arbitration Act, to use binding arbitration to resolve all disputes of any sort that you may have with Astro relating to or arising in any way from these Terms, your redemption of Rewards and/or your participation in Reward Events. Any such dispute will not under any circumstances proceed as part of a class or collective action or be combined with claims brought by other persons or entities, and the parties expressly do not consent to class treatment of their disputes. YOU HEREBY WAIVE ANY RIGHT TO A JURY TRIAL OF ANY DISPUTE YOU HAVE WITH ASTRO. The arbitration shall take place in Los Angeles County, California. The arbitration will be heard by either a single arbitrator, or if either party so elects, a panel of three arbitrators. If, however, a party elects to require a panel of three, the electing party will be solely responsible for no less than two-thirds of the total arbitrator fees of the panel, and that two-thirds portion of said fees will not be re-allocable to the other party by the arbitrators in their award. Any arbitration award shall not exceed, in form or amount, the relief allowed by applicable law. The arbitration will be conducted by the American Arbitration Association (“AAA”) pursuant to its then-current rules and procedures applicable to commercial disputes. If AAA is unable to administer the arbitration, then JAMS, or such other arbitration service to which the parties may agree or (in the absence of agreement) which a court may appoint, will conduct the arbitration. The arbitrator(s) will decide issues of interpretation and application of this arbitration provision, but will not have authority to order or allow the arbitration to proceed as a class or collective action. Either party may seek temporary or emergency injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction at any time until the selection of the arbitrator(s). After appointment of the arbitrator(s), the arbitrator(s) will assume responsibility for any further decisions related to such injunctive relief. The arbitration will be governed by the substantive laws of the State of California, without reference to California’s choice of laws principles. The arbitrator(s)’ ruling will be subject to the appellate rules and procedures of AAA, but if AAA is unable to administer the appeal, then the appellate rules of JAMS or such other arbitration service that provides appellate rules and to which the parties agree or which (in the absence of agreement) a court appoints. The arbitration agreement and any award by the arbitrator(s) will be confidential. Notwithstanding anything herein to the contrary, this arbitration agreement also applies to claims against Astro's employees, representatives and affiliates if any such claim would be covered by this arbitration agreement if it were made against Astro. If any portion of this arbitration agreement is held to be illegal or unenforceable, such partial illegality or unenforceability shall not affect the enforceability of the remainder of the agreement. This agreement supersedes all prior agreements, understandings and representations between Astro and you regarding the resolution of disputes.
We may send communications about the program to you at any mailing or email address in our records or through our online services, such as astrobanking.com or the Astro Mobile App.
You are responsible for keeping your contact information on your Astro Account current.
Points are not your property, have no cash value and are non-refundable. You cannot transfer or move points unless expressly provided for in these Terms. Additionally, points cannot be transferred by operation of law, such as by inheritance, in bankruptcy or in connection with a divorce.
Points or Rewards may be subject to federal, state, or local income tax. Determination and payment of any liability for federal, state, or local income taxes regarding the earning or redemption of points or Rewards are your sole responsibility. Please consult your tax advisor concerning any income or other tax consequences related to participation in the Program.
Astro strives to keep your personal information and Astro Account safe from security breaches; however, we cannot guarantee the safety or security of your personal information or Astro Account. BY PARTICIPATING IN THE PROGRAM, YOU AGREE, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, TO RELEASE ASTRO AND ITS REPRESENTATIVES FROM ANY AND ALL LIABILITY FOR ANY HARM, INJURY, LOSS, OR DAMAGES SUFFERED BY YOU AS A RESULT OF A SECURITY BREACH, FAILURE, OR SHORTCOMING OF THE SERVICES. If you believe that a security breach is occurring, or will occur, you must notify us immediately.
Astro may assign our rights and obligations under these Terms to a third party, who will then be entitled to any of our rights that we assign to them. A Change of Control shall be deemed an assignment by operation of law for the purposes of this provision.
Astro is not responsible for any disputes you may have with any authorized users on your Astro Account about the Program.
Creators participating in the Program are not employees, agents or representatives of Astro, and Astro is not an employee, agent or representative of the Creators. All participating Creator names, images and likeness are used with permission and are the property of their respective owners. You may not use the Creators' names, images or likenesses unless expressly consented to by the Creators. Participating Creators are subject to change without notice.
Participating merchants and third-party service providers are responsible for the quality and performance of any products or services they provide. Astro is not responsible for any aspects of the products and services provided by participating merchants or third-party service providers.
The Program is void where prohibited by federal, state, or local law.
These Terms and your use of the Program are governed by federal law, as well as the laws of the State of California, and will apply no matter where you live or use the Program.
We may enforce these Terms at any time. We may delay enforcement without losing our right to enforce these Terms at a later time.
If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable under any circumstance, its application in any other circumstances and the remaining provisions shall not be affected. Further, the provision that has been deemed to be invalid or ineffective shall be enforced to the greatest extent permitted by law.
In no event will Astro be liable or responsible to you, or be deemed to have defaulted under or breached these Terms, for any failure or delay in fulfilling or performing any term of these Terms, when and to the extent that such failure or delay is caused by any circumstances beyond Astro's reasonable control, including, but not limited to, acts of God, flood, fire, earthquake, tsunami, pandemic, explosion, war, terrorism, invasion, riot or other civil unrest, cloud service outages, embargoes or blockades in effect on or after the date of these Terms, national or regional emergency, strikes, labor stoppages or slowdowns or other industrial disturbances, passage of law or any action taken by a governmental or public authority, including imposing an export or import restriction, quota or other restriction or prohibition or any complete or partial government shutdown, or national or regional shortage of adequate power or telecommunications or transportation.
